Meg's Givebacks
Meet Meg!
Meg is a 21 year old from Northern Virginia. In 2015, Meg was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia while on a family trip to Portland, Oregon nearly 3,000 miles away from home and just 2 days before Christmas.
Cancer fighter turned passionate advocate, Meg has relentlessly advocated for better treatments, mental health, and for teens battling cancer. As a way to give back to all of the people who supported her during her battle, she started "Meg's Givebacks" a project dedicated to collecting toys to deliver to Inova Children's Hospital.

Christmas in July
Meg noticed during her fight with cancer that the hospital was most bare during the summer months. Toy donations tended to slow, the closet was empty, and child-life was desperately reaching out for help. So her Christmas in July program was born where she collected toys, games, and crafts for the hospital during the summer months.
Care Packages for Parents
Parents are given the minimum when it comes to necessities during hospital admissions. Meg's Givebacks steps in and fills that gap by putting together care packages for parents to give them a bit of luxury during their stays.
